Introduction to TAQA Assessor Awards
This half-day introduction to the TAQA Assessor Awards will provide you with an overview of the TAQA qualification suite and help you to determine which qualification is right for you, as well as providing a solid foundation for you to progress onto your chosen route.
Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
This Award is meant for practitioners who assess the achievement of competence in a work environment using the following assessment methods: observation, examining work products, oral questioning and discussion, use of others (e.g. witnesses), learner statements and RPL.
Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
This is a knowledge-only Award for those who need to know about assessment but who are not currently practicing e.g. aspiring assessors or quality managers.
Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement
This Award is for practitioners who assess achievement in vocationally-related situations e.g. classrooms or workshops and who use the following assessment methods: assessments in simulated environments, skills tests, oral and written questions, assignments, projects, case studies and RPL.
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
This Certificate is meant for practitioners who need to be qualified to use ALL of the previously listed assessment methods.

Environmental Principles and Best Practice – Level 2
The CIEH Level 2 Award in Environmental Principles and Best Practice provides an awareness of key environmental concepts and an introduction to environmental management systems.
