We encourage our learners to speak or develop their welsh skills, and this Shwmae Su'mae Day is a perfect opportunity to use our Welsh language by introducing some words or phrases into our everyday chats.
Just by saying hello (shwmae), good morning (bore da) or good afternoon (prenawn da), it can be these first few steps that could be all the encouragement someone needs to want to learn more. Whether about the language itself or indeed our heritage.
