We were thrilled to present Katie Edwards with the More Training “Learner of the Month Award”
In recognition of her application, commitment and enthusiasm in completing her Application of Number, as part of her apprenticeship framework for Customer Service at Level 2.
Katie received a certificate and a voucher that we all hope she will be able to use to spoil
herself. (We hear that it could be used to purchase a new bag!!!) “Katie’s writing skills have shown great improvement and she is no longer panicky about maths. I have been so proud of Katie’s work ethic and commitment to the qualification, so much so, that I had no reservation in putting her forward the prestigious QSA Learner of the Year Award!!” – Trish Jones, Learning Consultant.
When asked about her experiences with the training we provided, Katie said - “When I started the qualification, I thought that it would be easy and a bit of a “tick box” exercise. I didn’t expect to gain so much from it. I feel that I have really accomplished something, with each challenge set”.
“I now feel that I can accomplish anything, and my Maths skills have really improved and has boosted my confidence”.
When asked about the support that More Training had provided - “Trish was amazing!! She really supported me through every aspect of the qualification. I look forward to Trish’s visits to go through the work I have done and setting me my new targets.”
Katie went on to say, “I have to thank Jon and Lois at freshflow too, for given me the opportunity, time and support and for seeing something in me. It has been such an amazing development opportunity and I cannot thank them enough”.
Katie is now moving onto pastures new and is looking forward to the new challenges this will bring and to progress her career in line with her ambitions. Trish is looking forward to continuing to support Katie in her new role and for her to complete her qualification.
