We were thrilled to present Alex Latham with the More Training “Learner of the Month Award”
In recognition of his application, commitment and enthusiasm in completing his Application of Number, as part of his apprenticeship framework for Warehousing and Storage at Level 3.
Alex received a certificate and a voucher that we all hope he will be able to put to good use.
“Alex has worked really hard to improve his maths skills. He took responsibility for his own development dedicating many hours getting himself to a very good standard and qualifying at Level 2 in Application of Number” – Julie Lovell, Essential Skills Tutor.
When asked about his experiences with the training we provided, Alex said - “I used to struggle with Maths in school, but since engaging with Julie at More Training and working through the exercises online, I feel much more confident and capable when calculating problems. I used to “Google” answers before, now I do all of these myself.”.
Alex went on to say, “I am really looking forward to completing the rest of my qualification. I have my first baby which is due to be born in the next couple of weeks, a little girl. So the voucher will definitely go to buying something for her.”
I’m sure that Alex will have his hands full over the next coming months, and we at More Training are so pleased for Alex at this very exciting time. We wish him every success for the future 😊
